Hinsdale Psychology Resources is a private practice founded in 1992 by Dr. Patricia Andrise. It has been located in Hinsdale, Illinois since its inception. The practice recently moved into a Hinsdale historic home on Vine Street and was upgraded to ensure the safe accessibility for all patients.
Dr. Patricia Andrise is a licensed psychologist with specializations in health, rehabilitation, geriatrics, and neuropsychology. Additionally, she treats patients of varying psychological presentations including grief, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
She received her Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University in 1983. Her
clinical internship was completed at Yale University School of Medicine from 1982-1983. Dr. Andrise completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Northwestern University/Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in 1984 and remained on staff until 1987. She served as Director of Psychology at Paulson Rehab Network/Hinsdale Hospital through 1990. Dr. Andrise has been in private practice since that time and remains on staff at AMITA locations, including Hinsdale Hospital, Bolingbrook Hospital, LaGrange Hospital, as well as Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital. She also serves as a psychological consultant at Monarch Landing and The Springs at Monarch Landing in Naperville, Illinois.
Elissa Miller received her License in Clinical Social Work in 2011 after receiving her Masters in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago in 2008. Elissa has been in private practice since 2017 at Hinsdale Psychological Resources, working with adults and adolescents. She has five years experience working with young adults in the Illinois child welfare system and three years experience working as a school social worker in a public educational setting as well as in a therapeutic day school.
